Plot
Set against the backdrop of the 1913 Mexican Revolution, the story follows the ambitious bandit Juan Miranda and the fervent John H. Mallory, an Irish explosives specialist fleeing the British authorities. They join a group of revolutionaries scheming to rob a national bank. However, their plans take an unexpected turn when they discover the bank is a secret prison for political captives. When their explosion liberates these prisoners, Miranda inadvertently emerges as a celebrated revolutionary figure, thrust into a role he never intended to play.
