Antoine Saint-John

Antoine Saint-John was born in Avignon, France, and initially pursued a career as a stage actor. In the early 1970s, he transitioned into film, where he gained recognition for his diverse roles. His standout performance came in 1975 when he portrayed a German colonel in John Milius's historical epic, The Wind and the Lion. Saint-John was also noted for appearing in the Spaghetti Western genre, taking on similar roles in A Fistful of Dynamite (1971) and My Name is Nobody (1973).

In 1981, he showcased his versatility by playing the zombified artist Schweick in Lucio Fulci's renowned cult horror film, The Beyond. His ability to convey complex characters and emotions through his performances solidified his place in the film industry.
