Plot

At just 20 years old, Ibn Battuta, a dedicated Muslim law student, embarks on an epic pilgrimage from Tangier, Morocco, to Mecca in 1325. Spanning over 3,000 miles, this extraordinary journey tests his resolve over 18 grueling months. Battuta encounters numerous challenges, including brutal bandit attacks, fierce sandstorms, and life-threatening dehydration. Along the way, he finds unexpected allies in Bedouins who come to his aid.
