Plot

Rick Leland, having been court-martialed, openly displays his disloyalty to the United States as he embarks on a Japanese ship bound for the Orient in late 1941. However, his intentions may not be as clear-cut as they seem. Is Leland genuinely expelled from the army, or does he have ulterior motives for befriending fellow traveler Dr. Lorenz? Meanwhile, his interest in the captivating Alberta Marlow appears much more straightforward. As tensions mount, Leland's true allegiances and motivations unravel amidst a backdrop of impending conflict.
