Plot

Young attorney Steve Keiver, drawn into a web of crime, quickly earns money by skirting the law with the help of shady gangsters. His success catches the attention of the mob, who offer him a steady position. However, his illicit activities do not go unnoticed. Police Inspector Matt Duggan uncovers Steve's ties to organized crime, placing the young lawyer in grave danger. To extricate himself and salvage his reputation, Steve must navigate a treacherous path, ultimately deciding to betray the very criminals he once allied with.
