Plot
Post-World War II Scotland sees the clash of two contrasting leaders at brigade headquarters. Major Jock Sinclair, a charismatic and unruly battalion chief, finds himself replaced by the stern and volatile Lieutenant Colonel Basil Barrow. Sinclair's bitterness towards Barrow leads him to actively sabotage the new commander's efforts, tarnishing Barrow’s standing with the troops. As tensions rise, Barrow must confront the challenge of restoring order and earning the soldiers' respect amidst Sinclair's relentless undermining, setting the stage for a gripping power struggle.
