Plot

An American sailor down on his luck stumbles upon the home of two wealthy gentlemen who have devised an eccentric experiment involving a one million pound note. To his surprise, using this note transforms his fortunes, as shopkeepers and strangers treat him like royalty, showering him with gifts and services.
