Hartley Power

Power is best known for two memorable performances: he portrayed "Sylvester Kee," a ventriloquist caught in a deadly rivalry with "Maxwell Frere," played by Michael Redgrave, in the classic horror anthology film *Dead of Night*. In this role, he experiences a near-fatal confrontation over his puppet's affections, leaving a lasting impression on audiences. Additionally, Power showcased his talent in the romantic comedy *Roman Holiday*, where he played the head of the news agency that employed the character portrayed by Gregory Peck.
