The Man from Morocco (1945)
Plot
After the Spanish Civil War concludes, a weary group of International Brigade volunteers flees to France in search of safety. Upon arrival at the border, they are disarmed and imprisoned as political dissidents. Vichy authorities soon order that the able-bodied prisoners be transported to Morocco to labor on the Sahara railway for German forces. Amidst this turmoil, one individual successfully breaks free and makes his way to London, carrying crucial intelligence meant for the Allies. The struggle for survival and resistance unfolds against the backdrop of war's grim realities.
