Plot

In 1980, young George O'Dowd confounds his parents with his passion for fashion, moving into a squat with his flamboyant friend Peter, who embodies Marilyn Monroe. They quickly make waves at the Blitz Club, where George finds work in the cloakroom. Struggling in love, he eventually meets aspiring musician Kirk, leading him to the charming drummer Jon Moss, with whom he becomes infatuated. After a brief stint with manager Malcolm McLaren, George joins the band Bow Wow Wow. Eventually, he and Jon embark on a romance, forming the successful Culture Club. However, four years later, facing tabloid scrutiny and personal turmoil, George seeks Jon's guidance on his troubled path.
