Francis Magee

Francis Magee, born on June 7, 1959, is a talented Irish actor known for his diverse roles across television and film. He gained notable recognition for his portrayal of Liam Tyler in the popular British soap opera EastEnders, where he appeared from 1993 to 1995. Magee has made appearances in a variety of acclaimed productions, including the films Sahara (2005), Layer Cake (2004), and The Calling (2000). One of his significant roles came in the 2009 film 1066 The Battle for Middle Earth, where he played Ordgar, the Housecarl leading the Crowhurst contingent in a gripping retelling of historical events.

Born and raised in Ireland and the Isle of Man, Magee's journey to acting was unconventional. Before entering the entertainment industry, he spent eight years working as a fisherman. His artistic talents extend beyond acting; he has been involved in several music groups, such as Namoza, which released four singles and an album, and Disco D'Oro.
