Overview
Set in 1980s England, Canon Daniel Clement, the Rector of Champton, becomes unwittingly involved in a murder investigation after a corpse is discovered in the church. His proposal to modernize the church ignites a rift among the parishioners. Things take a darker turn when another body is discovered at the back of the church. With the police on the scene and more bodies appearing, it falls to Daniel to mend his divided community while also pursuing the elusive killer.
