Plot
Following the Civil War's Battle of Worcester, Oliver Cromwell's Commonwealth is fixated on capturing Charles Stuart. The daring Earl of Dawlish, known as the Moonraker, has successfully aided numerous Royalists in their flights to safety. He heads to the Windwhistle Inn on the southern coast to orchestrate another escape. There, he encounters Anne Wyndham, who is engaged to a prominent Roundhead colonel. As tensions rise, their meeting sets the stage for a gripping tale of loyalty, intrigue, and the fight for royal succession amidst a divided nation.
