Plot
In "Telling Lies in America," a 17-year-old youth forms a friendship with his idol, Billy Magic, a charismatic radio DJ. As their bond deepens, the boy becomes increasingly entangled in the murky waters of payola and the ethical dilemmas of the entertainment industry. The allure of fame and success begins to overshadow his moral compass, leading him down a path of deception and compromise.
