Plot

Jack Irish is on a path to reclaim his life after a tumultuous fall from grace as a criminal lawyer. Balancing multiple roles, he works as a part-time investigator, debt collector, apprentice cabinet maker, and occasional lover. Jack excels at tracking down people who prefer to remain hidden, whether they're alive or deceased. While he lends a hand to friends in need, he tries to steer clear of his troubled history. However, his past catches up with him, challenging his efforts to move forward and forcing him to confront old demons.
