Ice Station Zebra (1968)
Plot
When a covert Soviet spy satellite equipped with purloined Western tech malfunctions, it crashes near the remote Ice Station Zebra, a British Arctic research facility. The station sends out urgent distress signals, but communication soon ceases. To rescue the endangered team, the atomic submarine Tigerfish, helmed by Commander James Ferraday (Rock Hudson), is sent on a perilous mission into the icy wilderness. As the clock ticks, the crew must navigate treacherous waters and uncover the mystery behind the satellite's failure before it's too late.
