Plot

Elizaveta Petrovna Glinka, affectionately known as Doctor Liza, balances family and duty in Moscow, 2012, as her family celebrates thirty years together. With friends gathered for dinner and her sons present, Liza intends to devote the day to her loved ones. However, a visit to her foundation and patients at Paveletsky Station disrupts her plans. When a five-year-old cancer patient, Eva, faces a crisis after being denied pain relief, her father turns to Liza. Frustrated by the bureaucratic system, Liza is compelled to take a bold, unorthodox step to save the child.
