Plot

In "Broadway Danny Rose," an inept talent manager named Danny Rose finds himself entangled in a love triangle with the mob while trying to assist a client. The narrative unfolds through flashbacks as a group of comedians recount Danny's misadventures over lunch at Carnegie Deli in New York. Rose runs a one-man agency catering to a variety of untalented performers, including a one-legged tap dancer. However, his most promising client is Lou Canova, a once-popular lounge singer attempting to revive his faltering career.
