Plot
Safia, the town's infamous seductress, unexpectedly falls for Matteo, a beggar and enigmatic figure in Sirocco's native district. Struggling against her feelings, she escapes to France, eventually becoming the mistress and then wife of a wealthy archaeologist, giving birth to a child she conceals as his. Years later, Matteo reappears in her life, stirring unresolved emotions, while a group of blackmailers threatens to unveil her hidden past to her unsuspecting husband.
