Plot

With summer vacation underway, Charlie Brown, Linus, Schroeder, and Pig Pen dream of a carefree season filled with comic books, TV shows, and music. Their plans take a turn when Lucy announces they’re all headed to camp, much to the boys' dismay. Reluctantly, they board the bus while the girls excitedly line up. At camp, Charlie Brown is named captain, but the boys struggle in competitions, losing a swim race and a lopsided softball game. As they gather around the campfire, the boys lament their misfortunes, highlighted by a humorous moment where Schroeder and Linus’s shirt colors get mixed up.
