Plot
Jean and Bill, a struggling married couple, receive an unexpected telegram announcing the death of Bill's estranged uncle, who has bequeathed them his cinema in Sloughborough. Eager for a fresh start, they soon face the harsh reality: the dilapidated theater is in disrepair and far from the financial windfall they envisioned. As they grapple with their newfound responsibilities, the couple must navigate the challenges of reviving the crumbling establishment and discovering the true value of their unexpected inheritance.
