Plot

Chiatura, once a thriving hub for manganese mining in western Georgia, now stands as a desolate ghost town, echoing its past glory. Mzis qalaqi captures the lives of its few remaining residents, including Zurab, a music teacher who scavenges the ruins for iron to sell. Archil, still toiling in the mine, dreams of the stage with a local theater group. Amidst the decay, two determined young female athletes relentlessly train for the upcoming Olympic Games, showcasing resilience and hope in a place overshadowed by its former prosperity.
