Plot
Oklahoma mechanic Pike Peters unexpectedly becomes a co-owner of an oil field, prompting his wife Idy, previously satisfied with their life, to seek out culture in Paris and mingle with the elite. As Idy rents a chateau from a financially struggling aristocrat, Pike and their adult children attract the attention of charming French suitors.
