Plot
Set in 1944, a group of war orphans and runaways roams the countryside, desperately seeking food and refuge. Their lives take a turn when they stumble upon a musician, a former concert pianist, hiding in a dilapidated castle. Initially met with tension, the children gradually warm up to him as he offers shelter and guidance. Through his protective nature and musical talent, he earns their trust while helping them navigate the harsh realities of their world. Together, they forge an unlikely bond amidst the ruins of war.
