Plot
Luke Malloy is anxious about the impending start of middle school, which means bidding farewell to carefree summer days and facing the dreaded Meat, the notorious bully. As his anxiety looms over his final day of freedom, he wishes for the Last Day of Summer to last indefinitely. Miraculously, his wish is granted, and he finds himself trapped in a time loop, reliving the same day repeatedly. However, Luke soon realizes that the "ultimate do-over" isn’t quite the escape he envisioned, forcing him to confront the challenges ahead rather than evade them.
