Eli Vargas embarked on his artistic journey at just eight years old, enrolling in voice, drums, and guitar classes at LAMusArt. His enthusiasm for the arts shone brightly from the outset, and his remarkable talent quickly became evident. For over ten years, Vargas captivated audiences as a featured soloist and ensemble member in the annual Stars for the Arts Benefit Concert, earning accolades from LAMusArt Executive Director Isela Sotelo, who praised him as “one of the best singers our school has ever had.”

Beyond music, Vargas has successfully navigated the acting world, starting with commercials and voice-overs before securing recurring roles in both television and film. His impressive television portfolio includes guest appearances on shows like Summerland, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, The Office, and a prominent role as a season regular on Netflix's latest season of Arrested Development. Despite his rising stardom, he remains grounded, valuing time spent with friends and family. His close friend, Allen Casillas, describes Vargas as “a level-headed and laid-back kind of person.”

Currently, Vargas is making waves on the big screen in the biopic César Chavez, directed by Diego Luna. The film chronicles the life of legendary civil rights activist César Chavez, and Vargas portrays Fernando, Chavez’s eldest son. He shares the screen with a talented cast, including Michael Peña, America Ferrera, and Rosario Dawson, further solidifying his presence in the entertainment industry.
