Plot
After serving as best man at his close friend Carl Petersen’s wedding, Randy Dupree finds himself unemployed and starts living as a perpetual barfly. He quickly becomes an unwelcome houseguest for the newlyweds, Carl and his bride Molly. As Dupree continues to crash on their couch, he forms an unexpected bond with Molly, leading Carl to grow increasingly exasperated at the thought of his friend overstaying his welcome. The tension mounts as Carl wonders just how long Dupree plans to impose on their new life together.
