Plot

After stumbling upon a mafia assassination in Chicago, best friends Connie and Carla make a hasty escape to Los Angeles. There, they reinvent themselves as drag queen performers in the vibrant dinner theater scene. Their act quickly gains popularity, but complications arise when Connie develops feelings for Jeff, a man she wishes to impress as her true self. As they navigate their new lives, the duo discovers that hiding from the past is just as challenging as embracing their identities in the spotlight.
