Plot
A French real estate developer embarks on a renovation project at a historic Romanian thermal resort. When he discovers an ancient Roman fresco hidden in a crypt, his frustration leads him to attempt to destroy it, inadvertently locking himself in a deserted courtyard. Isolated and cut off from the outside world, he struggles to connect with the few locals remaining. As days pass, he transforms from a refined businessman into a primal figure, ultimately gaining fresh insights about life and his surroundings. The pivotal question remains: will he find a way out of the courtyard?
