Plot

In "My Favorite Martian," determined TV journalist Tim O'Hara discovers a martian after his spacecraft crash-lands on Earth. Believing this encounter could earn him a Pulitzer, Tim sets out to reveal the alien, who adopts the guise of Tim's Uncle Martin and has his own agenda. As Tim attempts to uncover the truth, the clever extraterrestrial skillfully undermines his efforts. Eventually, Uncle Martin enlists Tim's assistance to fix his damaged ship so he can return to Mars, turning the journalist's quest for fame into an unexpected adventure of friendship and collaboration.
