Jeff Daniels
Jeffrey Warren "Jeff" Daniels, born on February 19, 1955, is a multifaceted American actor, musician, and playwright. Hailing from Michigan, he established the Purple Rose Theatre Company, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the arts in his home state. Daniels has made a significant mark in theater, with performances in various productions on and off Broadway, earning a Tony Award nomination for Best Actor for his role in the acclaimed play *God of Carnage* in 2009.
Daniels' cinematic journey began in 1981 with his role in *Ragtime* and continued through to *State of Play* in 2009, showcasing his versatility across genres.
