Plot

Twelve-year-old Hollis Woods escapes her latest foster home with the Regans and finds herself in the care of Josie Cahill, a warm-hearted retired art teacher. As Hollis adjusts to her new life, she grapples with feelings of abandonment and the struggle to belong. Josie’s nurturing approach offers Hollis a glimmer of hope, but her past continues to haunt her.
