Plot
Roger, a foster child facing abandonment, clings to hope when his neglectful father vows to change if the struggling California Angels clinch the pennant. With the team languishing in last place, Roger turns to prayer for divine intervention. Miraculously, his calls are answered by Al, a spirited angel who swoops in to help the team find their footing. As Al works his magic, Roger’s faith in both the Angels and his father begins to grow, leading to unexpected changes both on and off the baseball field.
