Salsa (1988)

Plot

Rico, a young Puerto Rican mechanic from the barrio, thrives on nightlife, dreaming of claiming the title of Salsa king at the prestigious La Luna nightclub. His carefree attitude leads him to encourage his best friend Ken to pursue his sister Margarita, allowing him to flirt with the captivating Lola. Tensions rise as Rico becomes entangled with the reigning salsa queen, Luna, complicating his on-again, off-again romance with Vicki. As Ken and Margarita unexpectedly fall in love, jealousy and rivalry spark chaos, challenging Rico's aspirations and friendships in the vibrant world of salsa dancing.
