Plot

In "I Want Someone to Eat Cheese With," James, a 39-year-old struggling comedian, finds himself living with his mother in Chicago, grappling with loneliness and weight issues. His life takes a downturn when his girlfriend and agent, who is her brother, both abandon him. Faced with disappointing local TV opportunities that don’t inspire him, James feels stuck. To make matters worse, a remake of his beloved film "Marty" is in the works, and despite his longing to audition, he is overlooked entirely, deepening his sense of isolation and frustration.
