Plot
An American professor named Adam encounters Patricia, a divorced British secretary, repeatedly during his trip to Switzerland. Their misadventures begin with a car crash, followed by a collision on the ski slopes that results in both breaking their legs. Amidst their constant bickering, a passionate romance blossoms, leading to a hasty marriage. However, their disputes persist, prompting Patricia to consider leaving. In a desperate bid to win her back, Adam stages a fake suicide. Their tumultuous journey sees them repeatedly lose and rediscover their love, navigating the complexities of their relationship.
