Plot
This iconic tale follows British prisoners of war in Burma who are compelled by their Japanese captors to construct a bridge that will support their military objectives. Amidst this, British and American intelligence agents plot to sabotage the bridge. However, Colonel Nicholson, the officer overseeing the project, has developed a deep sense of pride in the bridge's construction and actively works against their mission, torn between duty and his newfound allegiance to the work he helped create.
