Plot

Gunnery Sergeant Jim Moore, the toughest Drill Instructor at Parris Island, faces a significant challenge in Private Owens, who consistently falters under stress. Determined to uncover the potential hidden beneath Owens' timid exterior, Moore pushes him to the brink of desertion. Compounding his difficulties, Captain Anderson imposes a strict three-day deadline for Moore to transform Owens into a capable Marine, threatening dire consequences if he fails.
