Plot
Set against the backdrop of 1880s London, Verloc, a bookseller dealing in adult literature, secretly works as a double agent for the Russian government. Tasked with infiltrating a lethargic anarchist group, he realizes that a terrorist act is necessary to facilitate their arrest. In a misguided attempt to fulfill this requirement, Verloc orchestrates a bombing plot. The resulting chaos brings devastating consequences, impacting not only his life but also those of his wife, Winnie, and her brother, Stevie, leading to a tragic unraveling of their family bonds.
