Plot

A fierce storm strands the grumpy Captain Eksteroog on a deserted island, where he seeks the treasure buried by his nemesis, Zilvertand. Soon, he discovers he’s not alone; towering Reus and five children, along with their dog Smikkel, have also washed ashore. Eksteroog captures Smikkel and coerces the kids into treasure hunting. Meanwhile, Piet, Berend, Stien, and Steven stumble upon an uncharted island during their exploration. When they encounter the captured children, they plot to help them secure the treasure. But what happens if they uncover it and Eksteroog refuses to let anyone leave?
