Plot
Haunted by the loss of her three-year-old daughter fifteen years earlier, a mother has distanced herself from her ex-husband and son. Her isolated existence takes a turn when a troubled young woman with a troubled history crosses her path. As their lives intertwine, the mother grapples with resurfacing trauma and the irrational hope that this young woman might be the daughter she mourns. Old wounds reopen, forcing her to confront the past in a desperate search for closure and connection amidst the chaos of her emotions.
