Plot

In the lead-up to World War II, quirky heiress Amanda Kelly embarks on a train journey to Switzerland. During her travels through Germany, she befriends a charming elderly woman, only to have her disappear without a trace. Confused and alarmed, Amanda interrogates the other passengers, who insist the woman never existed. Doubting her sanity and sensing a deeper conspiracy, she enlists the help of photographer Robert Condon to unravel the mystery surrounding the elderly lady's sudden disappearance. Together, they delve into a web of intrigue that challenges their perceptions of reality.
