Plot

Disheartened and feeling overlooked, Santa Claus (Charles Durning) decides to abandon Christmas. A determined little girl, hoping to bring her estranged parents together for the holiday, enlists the help of his clumsy chief elf, Philpot (Bruce Vilanch). Together, they embark on a cross-country journey. Along the way, Santa learns about the profound impact he has on people's lives and the importance of love and connection during this special season. Through the girl's selfless mission, he rediscovers his purpose and the joy of giving.
