Plot

A cruel Daimyo commits horrific acts, brutally assaulting a woman and killing her and her husband. Despite the despair of one of his own vassals, who takes his life to highlight the atrocity, the incident is quickly silenced. With the Daimyo being the younger brother of the Shogun, he is set to rise to a powerful political role, potentially causing further destruction. Recognizing the threat to the Shogunate, a plan for his assassination is formed. Two of the greatest strategic minds of their time are drawn into a deadly confrontation: one must defend the despised Daimyo with a small army, while the other embarks on a perilous mission with just 12 valiant men. They become known as the 13 Assassins.
