Plot
During the closing chapters of World War II, the Nazis resort to dark sorcery in a desperate bid to turn the tide. However, Allied troops storm the site just in time to interrupt the summoning, inadvertently bringing forth a small demon that is saved and named "Hellboy". Fast forward sixty years, Hellboy now champions righteousness as a member of the Bureau of Paranormal Research & Defense. Teaming up with Abe Sapien, a psychic merman, and Liz Sherman, a woman with the ability to control fire, they stand united against malevolent threats to the nation.
