Plot

Test pilot John Mitchell struggles to improve his family's life, feeling the weight of failure as he prepares for a crucial test flight of a new rocket-propulsion transport plane at Conway Aero-Manufacturing. With two key passengers—Ministry official Crabtree and buyer's rep Ashmore—on board, the stakes are high; Ashmore's endorsement is vital for the company’s survival. When an engine ignites mid-flight, chaos ensues, and while the crew and passengers abandon ship, Mitchell defiantly chooses to save the plane, risking everything for both his job and the future of the company.
