Plot
A Newfoundland fishing vessel rescues a stranded Danish sailing ship and brings it to a quaint village. However, the captain soon discovers that the ship is a covert U-boat supply vessel, concealing a cargo of torpedoes. Realizing the threat it poses, he rallies his crew and the local villagers to devise a daring plan to destroy the ship and thwart any U-boats that might come to its aid. This gripping tale is adapted from Edmund Gilligan's novel, "The Gaunt Woman."
