Plot
Set in a bleak future where a disastrous climate experiment has decimated life on Earth, a rigid class hierarchy emerges aboard the Snowpiercer, a train endlessly circling the globe powered by a perpetual-motion engine. Passengers are divided by wealth and privilege, leading to stark inequalities and tension. As the oppressed seek to rise against their oppressors, the struggle for survival and justice unfolds within the confines of this moving microcosm.
