Plot
J.J., a rookie officer in a predominantly white Sheriff's Department, grapples with the harsh realities of racial prejudice as the first Black member of the team. Struggling for acceptance, he finds camaraderie with another newcomer, the first female officer, who faces her own battles against discrimination. During the murder trial of Teddy Woods, whom J.J. helped apprehend, he uncovers deep-seated corruption within the force. As he confronts systemic injustice, J.J. must navigate perilous choices that threaten his safety and challenge his commitment to integrity and justice.
