Bernie Casey
Bernard Terry "Bernie" Casey (June 8, 1939 – September 19, 2017) was a multifaceted talent who made significant contributions to both athletics and the arts. Before establishing himself as a prominent actor, Casey excelled as a professional football player, showcasing his prowess in interscholastic and intercollegiate competitions. His athletic journey also included remarkable achievements as a track and field star at Bowling Green State University, where he gained national acclaim as one of the leading high-hurdlers in the country. Casey earned All-America honors and competed in the finals at the 1960 United States Olympic Trials. He also claimed three consecutive titles at the Mid-American Conference in the high hurdles from 1958 to 1960.
